Rowan Arts
Rowan Arts is based in Holloway, north London, and was established in 2003.
Mission statement:
Our aim is to bring the arts into everyday life through an artistic programme that creates connections between diverse individuals, organisations, communities and art forms and to use the arts to enhance the lives of the individuals, organisations and communities with whom we work
We do this by:
Producing accessible, innovative and high quality arts events and projects
Devising an artistic programme that engages diverse communities
Forging a variety of partnerships to plan and deliver our activities
What We Do
We work with local organisations and groups to plan and put on arts projects and activities. We also produce regular larger-scale events that give people a chance to come together, both as performers and as audience.
The arts give individuals and communities unique opportunities to develop. By bringing the arts to local parks, schools, libraries and community centres we aim to make them accessible to everyone.
We also work with groups and organisations to help them devise, plan and raise funds for projects which we can manage for them.
Our funding is a combination of charitable grants, service level agreements, fees charged, sponsorship and donations, and income from events.
