British Psychotherapy Foundation

The British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF) is the leading organisation in the psychotherapy and mental health sector, providing access to treatment for the public, education and training to the next generation of psychotherapists and comprehensive support to our members. BPF was formed in April 2013 from the merger of the British Association of Psychotherapists, the London Centre for Psychotherapy and the Lincoln Clinic and Centre for Psychotherapy, each with a history of service to patients, trainees and members. We take the very best from these traditions to advance our vision of a society in which psychotherapy is available to everyone who needs it to promote their emotional well-being and mental health.

The Bridge Foundation

The Bridge Foundation for Psychotherapy and the Arts, a registered charity established in 1984, provides a range of psychoanalytic psychotherapy and counselling services. We are a well established Bristol based organisation with a strong commitment to providing accessible, high quality clinical services to a wide range of individuals and families. Alongside our fee paying services, we are committed to delivering accessible free counselling services for parents previously underserved by such services. We are interested in the application of psychoanalytic thinking and we also provide a programme of conferences throughout the year. Alongside clinical work, The Bridge Foundation has developed an interest in the healthy functioning of teams, groups and organisations and offers consultancy to public and independent organisations.

The Institute of Psychoanalysis

The Institute trains psychoanalysts and provides treatment at the London Clinic of Psychoanalysis and through individual analysts’ practices. It publishes books and journals, provides a library, carries out research and hosts public events. It administers these activities on behalf of the British Psychoanalytical Society, a component society of the International Psychoanalytical Association.

London Metropolitan University

London Metropolitan University is one of the foremost providers of undergraduate, postgraduate, professional and vocational education and training in Britain. From its two campuses in Holloway and the City, it teaches over 34,000 students including almost 7000 international students from 155 different countries. The University is committed to social justice, equal opportunities and community involvement.

The Severnside Institute for Psychotherapy

The Severnside Institute for Psychotherapy (SIP) was founded in May 1985 by a group of psychoanalytic psychotherapists. Our aims are to promote and develop psychoanalytic psychotherapy in Bristol, Bath, and the surrounding areas of the South and South West. SIP is a member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), a professional association which represents the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

Westminster Pastoral Foundation

Based at London Bridge, WPF Therapy sees more than 500 clients each week in our modern, purpose designed centre. We also provide training for about 1000 people each year. We are a well-established charity, proud of our reputation for high standards and with active membership of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council). Our clinical service is accredited by BACP and our graduates are registered with BPC, UKCP or BACP. Our degrees are validated by the University of Roehampton.
